Description
Based in the heart of the East Midlands, Rykneld Homes manages, maintains and delivers improvements to approx. 7,600 properties across the largely rural area of North East Derbyshire, dispersed throughout its small towns – namely Clay Cross, Dronfield, Eckington and Killamarsh and surrounding villages. For the past 11 years Rykneld Homes has been registered with the Regulator of Social Housing and has been successfully developing, acquiring, and building for sale its own housing. It now owns 140 properties (including shared ownership) as a Registered Provider of Social Housing on behalf of North East Derbyshire District Council.
Rykneld Homes is currently undergoing an exciting period of transformation - spearheaded by their Managing Director Lorraine Shaw, the organisation is proactively reviewing its structures and talent pipelines, firmly focussed around their customers voice, long-term sustainability and delivering safe and affordable housing for NEDDC’s residents and communities.
Having recently secured an enviable C2 Consumer Standards Inspection rating – with focus firmly set on achieving C1 in 2025; coupled with the recent appointment of their Director of Property Services, Rykneld is at a critical and exciting juncture as they continue to evolve as an organisation.
To strengthen the existing Senior Management Team (SMT), we are now seeking a passionate and personable leader to bring together the corporate services functions of Governance & Regulation, Finance, ICT & Digital, People & Organisational Development, Communication and Business Development. Working closely with your fellow Directors and the Managing Director, you will be responsible for the direction of Corporate Resources with a clear motivation to provide a robust, collaborative and future-focussed service that supports partners across the breadth of our organisation.
We welcome applications from leaders who hold a professionalism in any of the service areas underneath the remit of this post. We will be looking for those that are passionate for working collaboratively with internal and client colleagues, whilst also having a clear understanding of ‘best practice’ in respect of their portfolio; empowering their teams to deliver excellent, customer-centric service first time, every time.
Joining at an enviable time of change and evolution, with a colleague team positioned well to welcome and support you once in post, this is an opportunity unlike many others. You will be a key member of the senior management team with the opportunity to help shape the medium and long term future of Rykneld Homes.
